Abstract

Lansia rentan mengalami masalah psikososial yang dapat menimbulkan gangguan salah satunya depresi. Lansia sangat membutuhkan pendampingan dan dukungan keluarga untuk menekan angka depresi. Dukungan keluarga salah satu terapi untuk menurunkan depresi pada lansia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui hubungan dukungan keluarga dengan tingkat depresi pada lansia di Panti Jompo Lestari Menganti Kabupaten Gresik. Desain penelitian ini adalah penelitian korelasi dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Jumlah populasi 31 lansia dengan sampel sebanyak 31 lansia, menggunakan metode total sampling. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner Geriatric Depression Scale (GDS) dan kuesioner dukungan keluarga. Penelitian ini mengunakan Uji Spearman rank. Hasil penelitian dukungan keluarga sebagain besar kurang ada 17 lansia (55%), hasil penelitian depresi hampir seluruhnya normal ada 29 lansia (94%). Hasil uji statistik spearman rank didapatkan p-value 0.136 ? 0.05. Tidak ada hubungan dukungan keluarga terhadap depresi lansia di Panti Jompo Lestari, Menganti, Kabupaten Gresik.
