ANNOUNCEMENT: Operational Hours & Editorial Communication Ethics of JKSI

To all Authors, Researchers, and Academic Colleagues,

To maintain publication quality and ensure effective journal management, the Editorial Board of Jurnal Keperawatan Suaka Insan (JKSI) has established the following guidelines regarding operational hours and workflow:

1. Operational Hours

All administrative activities, correspondence, and manuscript processing will take place during the following hours:

  • Days: Monday to Friday

  • Time: 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM (WITA / UTC+8)

  • Exclusions: Saturday, Sunday, and National Holidays (The Editorial Office is closed).

2. Manuscript Processing & Contact Services

These operational hours are dedicated to ensuring the editorial team can focus on:

  • Receiving and conducting initial screenings of submitted manuscripts.

  • Managing the review, editing, and production stages.

  • Responding to inquiries via the provided official contact channels.

Note: Outside of these designated hours, the editorial team is not obligated to respond to messages or process incoming manuscripts. Any inquiries sent outside of working hours will be addressed periodically during the next business day.

3. Production Process via OJS (Open Journal System)

The entire publication workflow from submission and revision to final production is conducted exclusively through the OJS platform. We kindly request that authors:

  • Monitor their manuscript status through their respective OJS accounts.

  • Refrain from any attempts to pressure Editors or Reviewers via private messages/WhatsApp to expedite the publication process.

Any form of pressure to bypass standard procedures or the editorial queue is strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated to maintain our academic integrity.
