Abstract

Latar Belakang: Anak usia sekolah rentan mengalami masalah kesehatan yang meliputi masalah mengenai perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat. Permasalahan ini akan berdampak pada kualitas hidup anak. Untuk meminimalisir dampak yang terjadi, perlu adanya peran sekolah melalui program usaha kesehatan sekolah, yaitu dengan cara memberikan pendidikan kesehatan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan efektivitas pendidikan kesehatan dengan media video terhadap tingkat pengetahuan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat kader usaha kesehatan sekolah.

Metode: Jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan rancangan penelitian pre-experimental dengan pendekatan one group pretest posttest design. Tekhnik pengambilan sampel menggunakan nonprobability sampling jenis purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 14 orang. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuisioner. Uji statistik menggunakan uji Nonparametric Wilcoxon Test.

Hasil: 0,001 (p=0,001<0,01), artinya ada pengaruh yang signifikan sebelum dan sesudah diberikan pendidikan kesehatan dengan media video terhadap tingkat pengetahuan mengenai perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat kader usaha kesehatan sekolah. Pendidikan kesehatan dengan media video merupakan media yang efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat kader usaha kesehatan sekolah di Sekolah Dasar Islam Darul Mu’minin Banjarmasin.
